Tours/programs/activities for families:
Join us for our Connecting Community through Compassion Tour! This is an immersive experience where you'll forge deep connections with our community's diverse farmed animal residents, spanning 11 different species. As you step into the sanctuary, you'll experience the essence of the 4-C's: CONNECT with our residents as you hear their stories of resilience, witness the incredible CARE that each resident receives through our enrichment programs, feel the warmth of COMPASSION in every interaction, and embrace the sense of belonging that comes from being part of our vibrant COMMUNITY. It's a reminder of our shared humanity and our inherent connection to all living creatures. Each tour is 1.5 - 2 hours in length and approximately ½ mile of walking. The Cow Cuddle Experience invites you to spend an hour with the rescued cow residents of Luvin Arms. During this intimate encounter, you'll have the opportunity to meet, cuddle, brush, and scratch these magnificent rescued animals. With their slower heart rate and warmer body temperature, spending time with cows can help slow your own heart rate and release oxytocin, the "cuddle hormone." By joining this experience, you enjoy the therapeutic benefits and directly support the ongoing care provided to each resident at Luvin Arms. It's a chance to connect with cows while positively impacting their lives.
